The Four Houses: A Community Within a Community
From their first morning, pupils are embraced by a vertical tutor group pairing younger pupils with older student mentors. Daily tutor check-ins ensure that academic curiosity, emotional wellbeing, and personal character develop side-by-side.
From fiercely contested sports tournaments and the annual House Drama trophy to charitable drives in the local community, the House system cultivates pride, camaraderie, and an enduring sense of belonging.

Duke of Edinburgh Award
Pupils undertake Bronze and Silver awards, mastering map navigation, wilderness campcraft, and teamwork across the Hampshire Downs.

Rugby, netball, cross-country runs along the River Test, cricket, and inclusive inter-house tournaments foster physical resilience.

Competitive robotics, Astronomy society, Model UN, and regional secondary school debating challenge young minds.
Vertical Tutoring
With a 15:1 student-to-tutor ratio, every pupil meets daily with their personal tutor. Senior students mentor younger peers, eliminating social divides and instilling mutual respect.
3:15 PM – 4:30 PM
The school day transitions into 35+ clubs, academic clinics, music rehearsals, and team squad practices. Every pupil participates in at least two enrichment disciplines weekly.
Prefects & Captains
